• OUR STORY

Ever since our first journeys through Morocco and Mexico, we have been inspired by the creativity, dedication, and cultural richness of the artisans we met along the way. What began around 2017 as a personal passion for travel, textiles, and traditional craftsmanship has grown into a vibrant space where cultural treasures and unique handmade pieces from around the world come together.

We curate responsibly sourced home décor, garments, textiles, vintage and one-of-a-kind finds from Morocco, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Kenya, and beyond. With a particular focus on North African rugs and Central American textiles, each piece in our collection reflects the artistry, heritage, and stories of the people who create them — beautiful expressions of culture made with care, intention, and love.

We also cherish the art of restoration, thoughtfully repairing and reviving vintage garments and textiles so their stories can continue to be worn, appreciated, and shared. This commitment honours sustainability while celebrating the timeless beauty of handcrafted work.

The Little Oasis Showroom is a celebration of imperfection, character, and authenticity. It is a home for handmade, vintage, antique, and second-hand gems, alongside creations by independent artisans and makers whose work we are proud to support.

You’re invited to #findyourlittleoasis and be transported to faraway lands through soulful craftsmanship, meaningful stories, and cultural treasures that bring warmth and individuality to both home and personal style.

OUR TEAM

LAILA – FOUNDER

Since 2012, Laila has traveled extensively across South and Central America, Africa, and beyond, forming meaningful connections with artisans and discovering handmade objects, textiles, and cultural expressions. Her mission is to celebrate and help keep alive the traditions of the artisans she has met, sharing their work with a wider audience.

Inspired by the beauty of craftsmanship and cultural savoir-faire, she founded The Little Oasis Showroom — a curated space bringing together unique treasures for both home and personal style. Her approach is intuitive and eclectic, blending textiles, garments, vintage pieces, and décor from different cultures to create collections full of character, soul, and story.
