LAILA COUPRY

Since 2010, Laila has been spending a couple of months each year in South America and Africa. While in Morocco and Mexico, she has met countless gifted artisans, whose history and culture fascinated her. The beauty of handmade crafts and the savoir-faire of artisans have inspired her to create The Little Oasis Showroom.

ELLE HOUBY

Elle has been living between Morocco and Uganda since 2015. Researching the trans-Saharan indigo textile trade for her thesis project ignited her passion for the handicraft sector. Elle strives to collaborate with artisans whenever and wherever possible in an effort to protect traditional cultural expressions and is particularly enchanted by Moroccan handicrafts.
